General Manager, Karachi Marriott Hotel, Mr. Jan Verduyn addressed all the hosts during the monthly staff assembly. The theme of the presentation this month was “find your world”. During his detailed presentation Mr. Jan informed the hosts about the new amenities in the room and our constant rising standards to please our guests. Along with this important information, Marriott international information was shared by Mr. Jan. He informed that Marriott International has 700,000 rooms to its portfolio with 4100 hotels and 1200 more hotels that are under development. Mr. Jan emphasized that with the developing technology we have to move forward, like Marriott Hotels are the first hotels in the world that have introduced Mobile Check in. Soon Karachi Marriott will introduce the Red Coat Direct, Meeting Service App that will allow a meeting planner to request, respond and connect in real-time with their hotel Event Manager using a browser on their preferred mobile device. This will make the communication instant and precious time will be saved. After the presentation the certificates were distributed to the hosts for their outstanding performances. The hosts also celebrated their birthdays with Mr. Jan and a delicious birthday cake was shared by all.
