Geoff Walker from Launceston, Tasmania who was fatally injured in the 1953 Senior TT at Kerroomooar. This is his grave at Kirk Braddan, a long, long way from home. It could use some tlc. Anyone in the group from Launceston or nearby please feel free to share this pic. He was staying on a farm at Mount Rule owned by the parents of my mums friend. She can remember going to the farm aged 12 and watching him work on his bike, then the shell-shock of finding out he had been killed. She said seeing his tent, clothes and tools etc still there but knowing he would never return for them was the saddest thing she ever saw.
