Geoffrey Ceeloh SERIKALI KUSEMA NA KUTENDA.-The Coalition for Constitution Implementation (CCI) is dismayed by the plans by the government to spend close to KShs.2.5 Billion to celebrate Kenya @50 and is terming it a serious economic crime....The proposals includes Spending Sh690 million for events management and logistics, Sh286 million for conference and exhibition during the one week celebration, Sh300 million for publicity and communication, Sh20 million for erecting Billboards with images of the past presidents, Sh50million for making a bronze statute of the Former Pres Kibaki,and spending a whooping Sh320 million for identification of influential personalities among others..
