Gerald, I am very pleased that you have shared this Tasmanian CAFS video with me. These are some great trucks. I want to stay in touch because I would like to share a lot of training information that I believe will be helpful for the use and applications of these CAFS. One suggestion I think might be helpful if they arent aware of how to use a bumper sweep that sprays a foam pattern right down close in front of the tires so that when the foam is run over it drives it all the way to the soil and the tires make a physical crushed fire break that will stop a backing into the wind fire and will make a reliable barrier for wet line back-firing and for controlled burn out to stop the most ferocious head and flanking fires. Another usefull trick to improve application of the foam is to use a finger or thumb in the handline stream to create a wide angle fan pattern to paint the surfaces more efficiantly. (especially when inside of structures). And if you really want to create a long lasting and incredible heat and flame resistant foam blanket there is nothing better than the old type of Protien Foam. There are a few tricks you need to know about using protien foam, it is very sensitive to any amount of class a foam that breaks it down. Please share any additional information about the use of these truck. And thanks again.
