I am troubled by many who are getting into the ministry. Calling themselves ministers. I know that every believer is a minister of the gospel, but I am talking about those that seek a position that is higher then the normal believer. We must be very careful if we put on the hat of minister for personal edification. You do not realize the attack of the enemy is strong against those in leadership. If you have called yourself and do not have the. Call of God upon your life, the devil will devour you. Pride, position and arrogance will open the door for his attacks. I see young upstarts wearing expensive watches and suits making bold spiritual claims. Ive seen this movie before and know how it ends. These who are self called and self appointed will suffer shameful defeat. We wont even hear about then 5 years from now. Within the church we also have those who are trying to rise above the layity with a self appointed position, even working above the headship of the local church. These to are opening doors of sorrow in their life. Remember its not our ministry but His ministry. It is a joy and privilege to serve Him and His people. It is not a job promotion with a corner office. I had a man one time that saw my car. He said, Wow! If I go into the ministry I can drive a car like this. Well, he went to Bible school and the enemy nearly killed him. My friends you dont know the price I paid to have the car or the house I live in. The price cost me everything. Bishop Jakes told me one time, dont go where the grace of God wont keep you Meaning, only the grace of God can equip us and empower us for the spiritual battle that wages against the kingdom. You think al qeda, al Shabab and Isis are something ! Wait until all of Hell comes against you, them watch as the Holy Spirt steps in front of you and says, I got this. Thats Grace. Please do not seek political power and influence in the kingdom. It will destroy you. Seek His will and His calling
