Getting great reviews! Below are a couple of messages we received regarding last weekends Land Navigation course. As always, we had a great group of people. What better way to spend an autumn weekend. “Thanks again for an awesome course! Easily in my Top 5 list of tactical/self-reliance classes Ive attended in the past 12 years. Bob C missed out on some fantastic fall weather. Great workout--Im feeling muscles (or something) that I havent worked in a long time. The nighttime dead reckoning exercise through the logged field was a bit treacherous but I dont know how else to make it safer yet challenging. Hector & I both felt providing 2-way radios was a responsible and much appreciated safety precaution. Looking forward to continued membership and support of MTC! - A.D from Warren MI “Just a quick note to say thanks again for an awesome class on Saturday. [My partner] and I had a great time, learned a lot, and really appreciate having training opportunities like this. You and Guy both did a top notch job of teaching the class. Feeding us a small dose of information, and then turning us loose to go practice and apply it, is a solid training approach. Helps students make sense of and digest new material. For my learning style, I can see and hear something, but dont really grasp it until Ive actually done it. Weve already started acquiring topo maps of our hunting grounds and surrounding areas, and talking about plotting some new routes that will get us into more remote areas. Looking forward to using all the knowledge and skills we picked up in class on Saturday. Well be back for more in 2015. If MTC runs the Zombie class / competition again, well be there. And were planning on signing up for a couple of the Long Range classes as well. LR3 sounds awesome!! [My partner]and I have done a few classes with Vapor Trail Tactical, Shadow 6, and The Firing Line, to get a decent baseline of knowledge on the handgun, carbine, and long gun. Sounds like the depth that MTC goes into in the long range classes will help us continue to build on and hone those skills even further. Which would be awesome. Weve done very little shooting at movers. And the only time theres ever been an opportunity to shoot at movers at night was at the MTC Zombie class. Which was just enough of a teaser to make me crave getting more time to practice that. Thanks again for everything! - M.L. from Pinckeny MI.
