Getting home from lower primary school on Tuesdays, my brothers and i would hurriedly gulp down our cocoa and make a beeline to the TV so as not to miss Spider Woman. We were all more than a little in love with this Jessica Drew who in just a whirl would turn into Spider Woman and with cobwebs shot from her fingers, the ability to creep along walls and psychic spider sense, be able to save the world. Agricultural research institutions such as KARI should embark on discovering what spider bit Jessica Drew, and further, what serum her father used to enable her to become superhuman after the spider bite. Initiatives such as these could lead to a marked decrease in crime, reduced attacks from terror groups and an end to the emergence of rebel movements in the region.
