Getting together and making music was always part of this community from informal family gatherings to community dances and Christmas concerts. The tradition continued on Sunday last with our annual Victoria Settlement Jamboree. The 120+ visitors enjoyed the performances of musicians from around the area and as far away as Spruce Grove and St Paul. Good weather, not too many bugs and the tea served with our almost famous oatcakes made for a most enjoyable afternoon.
