Girraween-- Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was approached by a man in Sydney’s west. About 11.25am yesterday (Wednesday 19/06)), an 18-year-old girl was sitting at a bus stop at the intersection of Gilda Road and Palm Street in Girraween when she was approached by a man. At the time the girl was dressed in full school uniform. The man asked a series of questions before grabbing the girl’s arm and attempting to pull her away. The girl screamed and the man ran to a nearby vehicle which drove off. The teen boarded a bus and went to school, alerting staff of the incident. He’s described as being of Indian/Sub-Continental appearance, 40-50 years of age, about 188cm tall, with a thin build, black hair and sideburns, a thick black moustache and bad acne on his forehead. He was wearing a black ‘Ralph Lauren’ polo shirt and brown pants, and was travelling in a new model black 4WD with black and white NSW registration plates, five doors and roof racks.
