Give CHARITY before death approaches you ! Reminder first to myself the others, اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خُلَّةٌ وَلَا شَفَاعَةٌ ۗ وَالْكَافِرُونَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ 2:254 O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the disbelievers - they are the wrongdoers. Urdu اے ایمان والو جو (مال) ہم نے تم کو دیا ہے اس میں سے اس دن کے آنے سے پہلے پہلے خرچ کرلو جس میں نہ (اعمال کا) سودا ہو اور نہ دوستی اور سفارش ہو سکے اور کفر کرنے والے لوگ ظالم ہیں Also, O you who believe! Let not your properties or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever does that, then they are the losers. And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. Noble Quran 63:9-11 Urdu مومنو! تمہارا مال اور اولاد تم کو اللهِ کی یاد سے غافل نہ کردے۔ اور جو ایسا کرے گا تو وہ لوگ خسارہ اٹھانے والے ہیں اور جو (مال) ہم نے تم کو دیا ہے اس میں سے اس (وقت) سے پیشتر خرچ کرلو کہ تم میں سے کسی کی موت آجائے تو (اس وقت) کہنے لگے کہ اے میرے پروردگار تو نے مجھے تھوڑی سی اور مہلت کیوں نہ دی تاکہ میں خیرات کرلیتا اور نیک لوگوں میں داخل ہوجاتا اور جب کسی کی موت آجاتی ہے تو اللهِ اس کو ہرگز مہلت نہیں دیتا اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللهِ اس سے خبردار ہے The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said: “SON OF ADAM, TO GIVE AWAY WHAT YOU HAVE EXTRA IS BETTER FOR YOU AND TO WITHHOLD IT IS WORSE FOR YOU, BUT YOU ARE NOT BLAMED FOR HAVING A SUFFICIENCY. GIVE FIRST TO THOSE WHO ARE DEPENDENT ON YOU.” Muslim.
