Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. But lets be realistic - give a man a fish, well thats a pretty nice gesture. Next time you see him hell likely ask you for another fish. Teach a man to fish, well fishings not really that easy - takes a lot of patience and it makes you smell strongly of fish so hed probably just rather you kept giving him one of your fish. Then he tells his friends that theres this guy who gives out free fish. So you finally have to put your overly compassionate foot down and start charging them for the fish. Well they dont like that very much so they go back to eating fast food (or whatever) for a while until they eventually realize that the fish was a lot better. So they ask you for fishing lessons. And now youre a bit calloused to the whole ordeal but agree to teach them for a small fee. Then they all learn to fish and theyre happy and it makes you happy that you were of service for a small fee. And then they open a fish market that quickly becomes wildly successful and has tons of fish of every variety. And now youre having serious problems catching fish because theyre catching so many of them. So you go to their fish market to buy some fish. You happen to catch the owners eye and he says, Hey! I remember you! You taught me how to fish! For that... Ill give you a 10% discount on any fish you want. Responses?
