Given the amount of energy being spent trying to keep the country’s financial house in order, it’s hard to imagine lawmakers will have any left over to even think about approaching comprehensive tax reform. But, House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-Michigan) insists that they will (the argument being that, even as the budget, debt ceiling, and sequestration continue to jam the Congressional radar screen, the tax code remains a permanent fixture, the rewrite of which, represents an opportunity to spark economic growth).
