Gk Video Curfew re-imposed in Shopian, Kulgam,Pulwama Khalid Gul Lastupdate at : Thu, 12 Sep 2013 10:10:29 IST Shopian: An indefinite curfew was Thursday imposed in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama towns following protests after a man was killed in firing by the paramilitary CRPF Wednesday. Muhammad Rafi Rather, a 28-year-old school bus driver, was killed by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel of 14 Batallion posted at Gagran camp triggering protests in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama districts. The authorities had after four days lifted curfew in Shopian on Wednesday however it was again clamped in the town and adjoin areas. Curfew was also re- imposed in Pulwama after yesterdays protests while it was fifth day of curfew in Kulgam. The incident took place at Gagran village without any provocation as the man was passing by the camp and was heading towards his in laws house in Shopian town, they said. Earlier, four persons were killed on Saturday in CRPF firing in the same area. A complete shutdown is being observed in other parts of South Kashmir rest of the valley to protest the civilian killings in Shopian,
