Glad my first questions are usually: What is your intention? Why are you doing this? Remarkable how often the answers lead to my favorite admonishment: Dont treat social capital like it is a disposable commodity. Your bestowing your gifts onto a community has more to do with what YOU want, rather than what the community wants. This leaves a tenacious residue of resistance for those with more generative intentions.
