Glad to read that the inaccuracy of proper testing is finally being given some attention. Was diagnosed over a year AFTER initial bite despite presence of symptoms....thus giving Lymes an entire year to cause damage to my body. Second test last year revealed what was known all along & treatment was finally able to be started, albeit way too late. Faulty testing & poorly constructed CDC guidelines caused treatment to be withheld & symptoms far worse than they wouldve been had treatment started right away, when first test was performed. Thank you for taking a year from me CDC....your policies suck!!
