Global Events Marketing - Beijing Job (Beijing, CHN): Job Requisition Number:40434 The Role: Bloomberg is looking for an event marketing professional to join our Global Events Team in Beijing. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the development, planning, management and execution of Business Unit events across Bloomberg. Key responsibilities: - Plans and executes sales and marketing event programs for assigned Business Units - Develops and manages relationship with marketing and/or sales lead in region based on assigned Business Unit. Works with marketing and/or sales lead in region based on assigned Business Unit to design and implement relevant event programs. - Provides event program strategic guidance, including audience experience mapping, 3rd party conference evaluation and communication, and integration with other marketing tactics - Leverages the event execution tools, programs and infrastructure within Bloomberg to deliver events. - Implements event processes, standards and measurements across all events - Collaborates with marketing program managers to ensure the successful deployment & integration of events within the China marketing plan, seamless communications with external partners (government agencies, conference organizers, key associations, etc) and creation of unique event experiences that communicate our key messages. - Infusing customized, out-of-the-box ideas and solutions for events - Manages the creative process, including invites, event production, audio visual requirements, etc. - Integrates digital and social media tactics into key event programs and advocates for an integrated event experience approach - Project leadership and management. Leads domestic and international projects with multiple stakeholders (across different geos) and teams from inception to delivery. Will be expected to make sound independent decisions consistent with business - Preparing and complying with event budgets, negotiation with vendors, and ensuring payments & reconciliations take place in a timely manner Qualifications & Required Skills: - At least 5 years of event/experiential planning experience with multi-faceted, complex events within a company or agency. - Highly articulate, polished, and able to present to all levels of management. - Must be able to multi-task & work flexibly (heavy travel and extended hours) under tight deadlines. - Fluent Mandarin and English (read, spoken and written) a must - Experience in integrating technology, digital and social media tactics into events - Integrating events into marketing campaigns: Understands the role that events play within the integrated marketing communications framework and works to ensure that the right type of events are being planned at the right time.TAWZIF
