Global Warming--Where it All Started (And Updates on Benghazi) Our Guest: Investigative Journalist and Author, John Rosenthal As of two weeks ago, there were over 1,000 record temperatures set so far this summer— not heat waves but low temperatures. If you’re a global warming alarmist, this is, well, rather alarming. First you convince the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to subtract one degree from the 1930s and to add a half a degree to the last decade—only to have all that hard work and manipulation gone up smoke and mirrors. In fact, the oft-quoted “last decade is the warmest on record” is simply false. It has been cooling—and at a time when CO2 emissions have been on the rise. Exactly the opposite of what all their fancy computer models predicted. Dare I say, it’s enough to give them the chills? Except global warming is not about the environment or climate, it’s about controlling resources and money.
