Go, The Lord Is With You Good morning Precious Gems of God; Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God. Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!” 1 Samuel 17:36-37 (NKJV) The Philistine army had gathered for war against Israel. They faced each other, camped for battle on opposite sides of a steep valley. Everyone in the army of Israel was afraid of Goliath, who stood there mocking and challenging the Israelites to fight. Obediently early one morning, David left the flock in the care of a shepherd, and set out, as his father Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry. As Goliath, stepped out from his lines and shouted his usual defiance, and David heard it. Whenever the Israelites saw the man, they all fled from him in great fear. David asked; who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.” Davis was fearless in facing Goliath, not because he thought he was all that and the best that there was in that day but because He trusted in God who had power over all. David knew that God had given him countless victories and He would give victory over Goliath as well because he has defied the armies of the living God. David said; “The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” David defeated Goliath with stone, for the battle was the Lords. And your battle is the Lords. Go, face your giants God is with you your victory is assured for God is the one fighting for and through you. He will rescue you from all that you face. He will cause your enemies to be defeated. Your enemies will become your foot stool. Have faith in God and trust Him, is for you and He is with you. #DRWM
