Go back to your root.Go back to pick for examination the things you have been misled to neglect. We have gone off our tracks,We have gone astray. We have trespassed into fields that are not very relevant to us.We have lost our identity and self-respect.We have lost touch with our God.We have offered ourselves to be brainwashed, our mind has been conditioned so much so that we have have ceased to be the human beings that God intended us to be.He who has lost his root has lost his spiritual strength.the man who is spriritually powerful is the man who is firmly grounded in his own root.let us take our mind back and reflect carefully on all the spriritual leader of the world. Now, can we point out anyone of the leaders who was a strangers to the tradition and culture of his people?Everyone must spring from his own root.We accept the idea of cultural exchange which is based on mutual respect, but we must rebuff and condemn any attempt by any group of people or institutions that seek to impose its ideas on others. We must respect Religious Independence, but Religious Imperialism must be fought and its treacherous teachings condemned. The spiritual leaders of this world were all very humble people,They taught their people or their followers very simple truths about life.Arrogance was not part of their lives or their teachings.Genuine spiritual leaders do not make arrogant claims. It is only after their death that their followers developed fantastic stories about them.Okomfo Oforiwaa calls all people to discover their root in orther to liberate themselves from the systems that were designed to enslave them. The greatest form of slavery still existing on earth is Religious or spiritual slavery. Our great-grand fathers were said to have been enslave.they suffered a form of slavery in which the chains of slavery were on their ankles and wrist. They were able to see that they were in chains so they fought to free themselves. Now,we are also in slavery but our form of slavery is such that the chains are not on our ankles and wrists. The chains are on our brain. This makes it impossible for us to see that we are slaves. It is indeed a great pity. Now i okomfo oforiwaa assures you all that no matter how hopeless our situation is,there is redemption for us.The fact that we have identify our plight,it means our journey for redemption has begun...............
