“God Is Faithful” No temptation (testing) has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted (tested) beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear (endure) it. (Corinthians 10:13) We test our limits as we are tempted, led by our own desires and enticed. Sometimes we desire to see just how much we can stand or how far we can go down a path that lures us more and more until we are overtaken with sinful desires. But God is faithful and gives us a way of escape. He makes crooked paths straight. God desires for us to be able to bear or endure the temptations of this world and say “Enough is enough!” My desire is to endure and escape the temptation not to give into it. “Blessed is the man who endures temptation (perseveres under trial); for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12). Our trial or temptation is a test of our love for Christ who loves us. God is our strength and provider for all we seek in life. He has promised life and life more abundantly to all who love Him and who are called according to His good purpose. God wants our desire to be His desire for us: to be overcomers in Jesus Christ our Lord. Father God Almighty Savior, I thank and praise You for Your power and strength to overcome temptations tests and trials of my flesh and my faith. My desire, my love and priority is for You with my whole heart, soul, mind and strength I pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen! Grace, peace and love to all!
