God created our bodies to be of service to our needs. For example, hands, feet, or head movement; when all things are functioning as designed, with the slightest indication of need, the mind calls the body into action. Why should God expect less of His Body, the Church? But, the reality is, His Body is lame, disjointed, and often appears to be paralyzed! The Church, when functioning as designed, ought to move with the slightest indication that the Head (Christ) needs something done!
