When you talk about preventing gay people from getting married, or adopting, you are telling people I love that they are lesser. That they dont have equal rights. That you want them to suffer. Not just millions upon millions of faceless statistics--though that should be enough--but my friends, my family. Do NOT give me this shit about how I should respect that people just have different political beliefs. This isnt ABOUT politics. It never should have been. I refuse to respect beliefs when those beliefs refuse to respect PEOPLE.
