God is Good! Austin is showing more progress each day. It is amazing to see how he has improved day-to-day. The staff recommended that we get Austin a coloring book and crayons, so we find a sketch pad and crayons. We wrote his name at the top of the paper and asked Austin to write his name. What he did next was amazing! He drew a “X” and then, “Circled” his name! Then he drew a heart on the next paper! Although, Austin is not talking, he does know who we are. When asked questions Austin shakes his head “yes or no”. He mouthed “Mom” and “Love you”! It seems that Austin still has his funny personality. He took his dad’s hat off his head again and put it on his head! He waves to the staff as they walk by his room and gives them numbs up! Staff took Austin on a walk and he gave a fist pump to someone named, “Willis”. Austin also gave someone very special a couple hugs and sweet kisses on the cheek. We all had joyous tears! We cannot thank all of you enough for your constant and dedicated prayers. Austin is proof that God is listening to our prayers.
