God made bold and daring promises to Abraham. He said Abraham - TopicsExpress

God made bold and daring promises to Abraham. He said Abraham would be a father of many nations and Abrahams descendants would be as many as the stars in the night sky. Then came the day when God dared Abraham to throw it all away. Take your son, your only son, whom you love--Isaac--and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you” (Genesis 22:2 NIV). The blessings of the past were just the beginning. God is daring you to trust again--get ready for more! The Lord stopped Abraham at the last moment--the final seconds of his hopelessness. Why is God like that? Why does He raise the stakes so high? Because He loves HUGE REWARDS! God loves to say, WAIT! Theres still time to bless you; I have room for one more miracle. I can save one more. I can do it even better than you imagine! He called you . . . take the chance, Hell do it again. He blessed your children before . . . Hell do it again. He prospered you before . . . dare to prosper again. He anointed you before . . . Hell pour out so much you cant contain it One time wasnt enough . . . one more time is coming. Have you ever been in a situation that looked hopeless and the problems seemed larger than the promise? Friend, sometimes you just have to ignore your circumstances, look past the problems, and set your spiritual eyes on what lies beyond the facts. Faith sees what God can do long before He does it. Even when youre not sure how, faith believes anyway. If you can see the invisible, God will do the impossible! Thats what Abraham did. He reasoned God could raise the dead and chose to move forward in faith. Galatians 3:6 says, Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Today, I dare you to take God at His word and expect His goodness to come through in the final second when it really counts TD Jakes
