God of mercy, As we look forward to the Visit of the Holy Father in January 2015, we thank you for this singular grace and ask you to bless Pope Francis. Grant him good health so that his coming will encourage us in the practice of the faith and strengthen the victims of super typhoon Yolanda. Help us prepare our lives, our homes, communities, and parishes; Send us your Spirit to enlighten our minds and hearts, to make us fully grasp the significance of this event to the faith we profess and the life we give witness to, through our mercy and compassion for the least of our brothers and sisters and all victims of human follies and natural calamities. Imbue us with the zeal to spread the faith, the resiliency in times of trial and the docility to heed always the exhortations of the Holy Father. With the prayers of the Blessed Virgin, our Mother of hope. we ask this the through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
