God sees you.------ You are not a Christian, in fact, you make a point of telling everyone that you dont believe in any organized religion. You say you dont need a savior, and you joke that you are going to hell, but....... there is something going on with you. You have been reading more and more posts from Christians, and late at night when you are drunk and home alone, you have been clicking on some of those Christian channels. Yes, you think a lot of those posts and tv programs are a joke, but for some reason, you just cant look away. You criticize them and make fun of them, but at the same time, you just cant stay away from them! Why are you reading this stuff? , you wonder. Why are you watching all those phony, money loving hypocrites all the time? You hate religion! You think it was all made up just to control people. You think its a crutch, and for the weak. You cant believe people believe in the things that they do, especially with the way the world is today. You are always ranting and raving how religion has caused more violence and war than anything else. You remember the time when you were young and you prayed to God to help you, but he never did. He never helped the one that you loved either. You hate religion! You say it all the time. You think believers are uneducated. You think they dont know anything about science, and that they are believing in fairy tales. You think Christians got all the stories in the Bible from old myths. You think the church ripped off stories from other cultures and that there is nothing original in the Bible. You laugh at them for believing in an old man in the sky , and in a talking snake and in the story about Noah and all the animals and also that dude Jonah in the whale. You laugh at all that stuff and yet, more and more believers are starting to cross your path. You keep meeting more and more Christians! I know, I know, most of them havent been very Christ-like to you, but there have been a few that were. You hate religion, you say. You want nothing to do with it. You dont want to get saved, but something is starting to happen. A few Christians have stood out to you. There is something different about them. They dont act like the typical phonies that you are used to. They seem genuine. They are actually good people. They dont walk around acting all holier then thou and they are not badmouthing everyone and judging them. They are actually trying to walk like Jesus. You never had a problem with Jesus. You never knew whether he really existed or not, but if he did, he seemed like a cool dude. You liked some of the things that he said. You liked Jesus, you just didnt like his followers. You have run into a few old friends and they have become Christians. You cant believe it! You used to party with them and raise hell! You cant believe they are not in jail or even dead. They have changed big time! They are clean and sober, they have a family, and they said Jesus was the Lord of their lives. What is going on?, you ask yourself. You just cant get away from all this God stuff. You read some of the posts that Christians put up online, and what they are saying is making sense! You dont believe everything that they say, but you have to admit they make some good points. You were watching one of those Christian programs late one night and they had a story that actually made you tear up! What is going on?!?, you ask yourself. You were so high and drunk when you watched it, but that one story, and what the people in the story said, got to you. You get these feelings sometime. You dont know what it is, but you almost feel like something is drawing you. When you are alone and depressed, you start asking yourself, what if its true? What if there really is a God ? My friend, if you feel like i have been talking about you in this post, i was. God is real and he has been reaching out to you. He loves you, and you can know him, by calling out to him. Ask him to forgive you for everything that you have ever done wrong. ( we have all done wrong) Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life. There is a reason why all these things have been happening to you, Gods Holy Spirit has been drawing you.
