“God was just whipping me into shape!” was what I told someone yesterday! This person has helped me through several challenges over the past few years and I’m truly grateful for their knowledge and expertise, advising me through some pretty tough situations! THIS LIFE IS NOT FOR WEAKLINGS! The roughest day I had last year was in their office! Your girl was under serious fire, having to answer some pretty tough questions! I started to panic and inside I was pretty shaken, when all of a sudden a beep alerted me of an email message on my phone. It was someone emailing me all the way from Italy thanking me for the following post that I had just written the night before. The post said: “I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire ‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar Louder, louder than a lion ‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar” These were words from Katy Perry’s song, ‘Roar’ and I continued in that post: “ We gotta be fighters, dancing through fire, ready to tackle anything that comes our way, KNOWING we go with God, who is ready to fight with us!” From there I just started smiling to myself and I started dancing through the fire! The cool and confident Nikki instantly made a comeback! It was like God personally had that person send me that email at the very moment I needed it! This whole entire situation turned out to be so good for me, as I now KNOW I handle nothing alone and God truly is our constant Companion! I love this quote, written as if God is speaking, as this is exactly what happened with this situation: “You gain confidence through knowing that I am with you – that you face nothing alone. Anxiety stems from asking the wrong question: “If such and such happens, can I handle it?” The true question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens, but whether you and I together can handle anything that occurs.
