Gods Impending Judgment Isaiah 9: 8-16 The Lord has spoken out against that braggart Israel who says that though our land lies in ruins now, we will rebuild it better than before. The sycamore trees are cut down, but we will replace them with cedars! 11-12 The Lord’s reply to your bragging is to bring your enemies[a] against you—the Syrians on the east and the Philistines on the west. With bared fangs they will devour Israel. And even then the Lord’s anger against you will not be satisfied—his fist will still be poised to smash you. 13 For after all this punishment you will not repent and turn to him, the Lord of heaven’s armies. 14-15 Therefore the Lord, in one day, will destroy the leaders of Israel and the lying prophets. 16 For the leaders of his people have led them down the paths of ruin. This is what is expected from a nation that will not repent, The Lord use this same scripture ages ago to Israel, and because they were defiant they wouldnt heed the words of judgment. This is happening right now in America, instead of crying out to Yahweh for help they have turned towards the government for aid. I believe that 9/11 was a warning from God for America to repent, instead they have relied on chariots and horses instead of the power of God. Last week Secretary of State John Kerry made a accusation that was taken as a curse by the leaders of Israel, since this is happened America is been under fire over 75 tornados have struck killing near 40 people not to say how much damage they caused, fires and floods have swept through the mid west, sink holes hitting in Baltimore causing panic. I can see how this is making the Lord angry that the churches want to speak on restoration instead of getting to the root of the problem which is the sin that is sweeping the world by storm. Idolatry is all around us, technology seems to have brought in the smart phones, everywhere you go you see how this is infecting the world. The devil is using these devices to keep us from having a relationship with the Lord. Today I was coming home on the bus and decided to pray asking the Lord whatever breaks your heart break mine, I had to walk about mile, so as I was walking the Lord showed me how the people were conducting themselves, no one seem to talk to no one, they all were on there phones or they had ear phones on which I felt my heart just breaking, then I walked by a church and the Lord said look at it? I did and he said what is the difference? I thought about it and I then heard him say why is it there? It is not doing nothing, the world is moving about and it is like the fig tree that is shriveling up with no fruit on it, why even have it there if there not willing to open its doors to others in the community throughout the week not just on a appointed day of worship. I then kept walking and only passed a few people, on this journey I thought may see more, I then felt the Lord say even if I brought down a band of angels these people would not take no notice of them. I was so taken back by that statement, I felt a tug in my heart because since the first of the year I been reading out of the major prophets and the Lord does not like idolatry at all. I could feel something as to change, my answer was God this world needs a wake up call to holiness. The scripture 2nd Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
