Gods Word for today Thursday, 31 October 2013 Romans 8:31 b- 39 More than conquerors through him who loved us If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son , but delivered him up for us all , how shall he not with him also freely give us all things ? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen ? It is God who justifies ? Who is to condemn ? It is Christ who suffered [for us] death , whats more - rose again and is seated at the right hand of God and intercedes for us ? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish , oppression, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness , or peril, or sword? As it is written : Because you kill us all day , we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered . But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities , nor things present , nor future things, nor powers , nor height , nor depth , nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is on our side , so who will come against us ? Maybe some internal enemy that we carry , and perhaps our weakness or fragility or our personal betrayal ? What you do not give us the Father, if not spare his own son to save us ? That Jesus is the guarantee of the faithful love of the Father. If you gave us the Son , this will give us everything we would need for our salvation. Who is to blame , because God chose us ? It is in these words of Pauls great cry for freedom from fear. Since God chose us , He will protect us also , does not allow anyone to deprive us go . Remarkable are the questions Paul about it : How can I be afraid ? How can you think that someone will condemn us ? The only one who could do so , the Son of Man . But he allowed himself to be killed by all the people , and now intercedes for us with the Father . The judge , who would accuse us , he became our advocate , has become our protector . Jesus continually intercedes for us , because he knows our weakness . Paul certainly was aware of in his journey to Rome , it can be deprived of his life . Despite this awareness of the suffering and death definitely says: But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us . Death , failure can not be compared with love. Love is the source of life, and life is life, if it is nourished by love and is directed at her . No one and nothing can defeat us if we are confident in Gods love.
