God’s Word is the sword of the Spirit, and was made to fight spirit beings. It is to be used as a weapon against the invisible forces of darkness. Demons cause confusion, frustration, disappointment, hurt, tension, anxiety, etc. That is why the renewal of the mind is a must for spiritual growth and maturity. As long as the devil can keep you filled with fear, then God cannot keep you filled with peace. As long as the devil can keep you filled with confusion and frustration, then God cannot keep you filled with a settled mind. As long as the devil can keep you filled with resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness, then God cannot keep you filled with love and joy.EPHESIANS 6:12 says, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
