Going out of their remit, the February Committee throws a bone to - TopicsExpress

Going out of their remit, the February Committee throws a bone to pacify the Benghazi whiners. Same ole same ole... The committee was charged with drafting amendments to the constitutional declaration in order to enable early elections of a legislature and a chief executive. They came back with some amendments and they saw it within their mandate to specify the geographic location of this temporary congress. What a bunch of crock! Lets just try a little rational thinking, shall we? How and where does Benghazi stand now? Every traitor has a place in Benghazi, and so does every terrorist. Explosions and assassinations are a daily occurrence, sometimes hourly. Something like 120 victims last year and close to 80 so far this year. Not one, stay with me, not ONE instance of an arrest that lasts. Benghazis prisons are easier to check out of than its rotten hotels. Just yesterday, we saw the news about releasing the abducted son of the head of special forces in Benghazi. Just like that! Can you say trading with terrorists? OK, OK, so thats how things are in general, a complete breakdown of security. But maybe the idea of putting the legislature in Benghazi was motivated by a strong commitment to the democratic process in Benghazi, by the vitality and health of the democratic process there? Sure, how does Benghazi treat its own--inflated--representation in the current legislature? They cant go there. You heard me right, the representatives who were elected last July have not been able to go to their home city for months! Most recently a couple of them were stopped at the airport and prevented from boarding a plane back to Tripoli. I hear you ask, can anyone go there? Yes, every traitor goes there. Armed terrorists who control the airport, for example, were burning polling stations last July. They shot at elections volunteers and killed one of them. The terrorists who were trusted with guarding oil facilities and took them over, their base of support is in Benghazi. They formed their own government, complete with some 23 ministers, none of whom could work his way out of a wet paper bag. There you have it, a harbor for treason, terrorism, and civic incompetence. Now they want to force everyone to go there. Thats what I call rational thinking. Lets just ignore our experience of three years, none of that matters for practical folk like us, right? Yeah, thats right, past experience does not matter for forecasting the future, especially when you are forecasting with your ass.
