Going to get a little political on here for just a moment. Mr. President, you plan to eliminate coal to run power plants, citing climate change is having a "profound impact" on the planet. Do you realize that there is no significant change in weather that has been scientifically linked to pollution? You are willing to hurt several coal states and hard working people who need jobs and this resource to make ends meet over speculation? Really?? How arrogant are you, sir? Coal has also taken major steps to becoming more clean (10 power plants so far). We have been using coal for decades, sir, and despite the emissions, there is still no evidence of global warming; actually the planet is cooling (not to dangerous levels). There are also many more countries who use coal for power and utilities. According to the US census bureau, the US population is just under 300 million, the world population at over 6.6 billion. Americans make up 4.5% of the population of the world. How much impact, globally, do you think we create with our pollution? How arrogant are you, Mr. President?
