Going to say goodbye to an old friend today!! RIP Irene Korpela!! I did odd jobs for her my whole life, and so did my older brothers!! She once asked me what I was up to, and at the time I was working pretty hard and not drinking!! She then asked me if I still smoked pot!! I told her no, which was also the truth at the time!! I thought she was going to be proud of me, but instead she expressed her disappointment!! She said thats not you Sam!! She said Remember, all work and no play makes Sam a dull boy!! She couldnt be more right!! She was waiting to hear about something crazy or exciting, instead it was just a bore!! She gave me this advice about 20yrs ago when she was only around 78 or so!! She would occasionally go and grab a six pack when I did yard work for her, and when I was finished we would drink a beer together!! The last time that I talked to her, she said she was ready to cross the Jordan river!! Have a nice boat ride my friend!!!
