People will let you down only for God to lift you up. All your tears, regrets, accusations and the wide swing of emotions that play out after a hard let down is normal. Possibly even the night terrors and weeping and sleepless nights may occur too. However, there seems to be an unexpected joy when you least expect it that begins to overwhelm you after much sobbing. It seems to arrive during the time that you begin to think less of people for the comfort and affirmation and begin to lean on your Creator for strength and perspective. To put it bluntly we must stop nursing, breast feeding, and get off the teat, (as a farmer would say), of other people - and grow up!
