Gone Girl was a dark somber story felt all too real and kinda hit close to home. A similar story like this happened a few years back with The Scott Peterson trials. Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne was unlikable from the start but midway in the movie as you realize hes truly a narcissistic psychopath you start to realize this man is Batman... Youll get a taste of that darkness with Gone Girl. And it makes me more excited now more than ever. Right now Im literally letting what I just saw sink in... Definitely an actors film, with some great moments and terrific performances within from Neil Patrick Harris and Rosamund Pike. Thought it was a slow burn there was a few hiccups toward the climax but I still got into it. David Fincher did not disappoint in the vision I suspect he was trying to convey. Though its not his best work it will have you talking about it for days. 8/10 For the record its a BUY!!!
