Good Day Friends On Ward 39... 1. The KTC section 4 Human Settlement projects have kicked off nicely. And I want to thank everybody that assisted in making it a possibility. I want to thank those who constantly criticised the methods and ways. I still need you beside me and dont stop! 2. Electricity, now that we are investigating those people who steal electricity from the department, people are crying. Kanti what must I do now? This is the very same community that mandated me to do this njena. But I wont back off. Phantsi ngezinyoka! 3. Pegs/Pins, in phase 3 known as better life. People will not get their title deeds and they said I must bring in surveyors to rectify their plots and now that we have done so there are complaints. Banna! What do people want kanti? But I wont back off. Ownership of your house is important. 4. Hlazo Village. There is order and a committee that is leading the community well now but others are saying I chase them out of my Ward. Hawu? All what we wanted is united community and a people elected committee that cares for the needs of the community not of individuals. But I won’t back off till there is progress and peace in Hlazo Village. 5. Youth. The Youth of Ward 39 have started doing things for themselves. Watch the space and you see them doing wonders on Mandela Day. From there going forward, it’s going to be wasala wena. The mandate given to me by the ANC is very clear. And there is nothing that is going to stop me from implementing it. I have a team that I work with and this collective has the support of the community in all the three areas. This collective has restored democracy and dignity within the ward and people are participating in their community development. You can also play a part in developing your Ward, come along and contribute. We dont need negative minds. #HereToServeYou!
