Edgar and Penny Weigel Sarmiento (distributed to Bantayan Island) (4) Teamed up with AMRO ℅ Dr. Wyben Briones (to distribute medications received by GBC) (5) Distributed water/relief goods to: a.Tabuelan b.Bogo c.Santa Fe d.Bantayan e.Madridejos GBC Danao (headed by Red Duterte) (1) Packed 1000+ relief goods (2)Received cash/kind donations from a number of people (3)Received huge donations from Ms. Eleanor Duterte (4) Distributed water/relief goods to: a. Medellin b. Daan Bantayan c. Bogo --- This Week: GBC Cebu (headed by Jennifer Sarmiento) (1) Packed 1000+ relief goods (2) Received cash/kind donations from a number of people (3) Received a truck load of canned biscuits, water, relief goods from R.A.H.A (4)Disributed water/relief goods to: a. Most barangays in Tabogon (coordinated with Vice Governor Agnes Magpale) GBC Danao (headed by Red Duterte) (1) Packed 1000+ relief goods a.LTO Mandaue assisted in repacking biscuits (2)Received cash/kind donations from a number of people (3) Distributed water/relief goods to: a. Medellin b. Borbon --- A more thorough update will be posted soon within the week. It will involve: a. Donors List b. Purchases c. Volunteers Form Due to the number of officers/members of GBC, (and also a lot of members got sick as well, and are currently having personal business matters to address to) we might have a slight delay on posts. We hope though for your kind consideration. But we assure you that we are transparent, and everything, again as we always mention, will be credited for. -- A sneak preview of what will happen next week: -GBC Cebu might go to SOGOD, LEYTE -GBC Danao might go to CAMOTES ISLAND -GBC Shirts/Ballers will be sold to the public, this will also be a sort of fund raising for the victims -Phase 2 will be announced We will still be accepting donations in cash/kind for the victims, we will have an extension for relief goods up until GBC will launch PHASE 2: the REHABILITATION process (and lastly PHASE 3: LIVELIHOOD), this will however require more time due to the amount needed to purchase these materials., so if you have any donations, please let us know, and you may specify whether you would like it for phase 1 or phase 2. Finally, from GIVE BACK CEBU we would like to thank every single one of you for trusting us. We will do our best to make sure that we will find ways to assist those in need.
