Good Evening Randolph County Families, Its long, but please read carefully. :) Comment below if you are able to help in any way. Thank you in advance. Our children need your help for our upcoming american hero wax museum project!! We NEED cardboard boxes this week desperately. Items we need for our american hero wax museum: card board (see measurements and instructions below), double sided tape (or any tape), stick glue, copy paper (for when we print typed facts for our tri-fold boards and to print off photos of our heroes). Some items we need for our upcoming earth day project: magazines (appropriate) of any kind, glue sticks, willing parents that are willing to use a box cutter, tons of egg cartons (any size). We need small boxes to turn into tri-folds & large (at least 5 or 6 X 3) for back drops. Can anyone help collect & break the boxes down? Need them this week. Please email me or send MSG, or google talk. If you have a tri-fold that youve bought, your child wont need the small box. Everyone will need a large piece of cardboard (see dimensions above) for the back drop. At Woodland, Kerri Strain has us around 10 boxes to use as tri-folds, but we need more. Lorrie Robertson has 2 of the longer boxes that can be used for back drops. We need enough of each size (already broken down/cut) for 43 students. Who else at Woodland can help us with this? Im only at Woodland on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, you can leave the boxes and any materials youre able to send in our room (Crawford Haynes). WMS and WES needs enough of each size for 45 students, again please cut it down to size. If you cant round up 45 pieces of either size, we will take whatever you send in. You can leave the pieces on the stage. Wadley needs enough for 9 students; RMJH needs enough for 6 students (each size, see Wedowee and Woodland above for instructions). Im at Wadley on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Im not sure where cardboard boxes can be left, but please check with the office. My Monday mornings are for RMJH. Mrs. Braden is very accommodating and Im sure she will find us a space to store cardboard and materials. :) I would LOVE for our wax museum to be open to the public by the end of February or the first week of March. Once this project is complete, we will begin our earth day project. These projects will be on display at all campuses as well. We will need parent volunteers that dont mind using some box cutters for this project. Again, this will be March, so I will let you know when youre needed. I serve 93 students so theres no way I can do this without you. :) Thank you so much, Kerry Moore
