Good Evening from Brazil. We had a traumatic day here. We let Laura and Luiza out for a play. They were both running full speed all over. Then Laura had an accident. She was going full speed and tripped over a stupid electrical wire lying on top of the grass encased in plastic. She catapulted through the air and landed on her head. Then she had some type of seizure and was unconscious and bleeding from the mouth. We picked her up and she slowly came back around. Her tooth (a baby one) was broken, She scraped the fur off her head with the impact on her temple. I started to cry which is rare. I really thought she had broken her back as her body was limp at the back end. We put an ice pack on her head and called the vet whilst she revived herself. He said to give her an anti inflam which we did when she was getting back to normal. We saw her tail wag and rejoiced then she managed to stand on all four legs. Phew! You can only imagine the relief at seeing this. I am still a bit worried about complications her head took quite an impact. I am praying there arent any. This whole thing went on a while and we got all behind Carlos had to do a F! race to the chemist for the anti inflam that was best for this as we didnt have it in stock. She was quickly back to normal. She was probably back to normal quicker than I was. I even started shaking whilst watching the whole thing. We have been checking on her every ten minutes since then.
