Good Evening from RISE. Tonight THE BURGH may be snowy and cold...but something to warm EVERY preservationists heart are the images I captured just last week at the the historic home we LOVE TO LOVE...THE MONELL MANSION on Grand St in the Montgomery/Grand Street neighborhood. I had the opportunity to talk to a couple of the energetic workers, Brian and Evan, from BALANCED BUILDERS INC (located in the Hudson Valley), which is the construction company that has been commissioned to do the work by the NYC buyers who recently purchased this amazing gem. Clean out, clean up and some preliminary electrical work are on the current agenda. And even these young workers were excited to be part of such a significant city project. It just shows that were all in this together!! So pay attentions fans, followers, future pioneers and passionate preservationists...DISCOVER the city (before its too late)...get ready to EMBRACE that...Newburghs time is NOW! :)
