Good Government Club The Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette January 21, 1896 The Committee on Cemeteries Makes a Thorough Investigation of the Manner in Which Cemeteries Should be Managed for the Public Good. The Good Government club met in regular session last evening, the attendance being large and much interest manifested. The principal business was the hearing of the report of the committee on cemeteries, which was received and laid over for consideration until such time as the program committee might deem it expedient to call a special meeting for its consideration. The subject was thought to be of so much importance and interest that a whole evening should be given to its discussion. The report was commended quite generally and it is likely that it will be adopted without material amendments.
