Good Monday evening, all. Ive a very special message this evening; one that couldnt wait for tomorrow morning. :D Today, Herself brought home another assignment: Poem Declamation. This assignment will be completed by March 31st. Of the 54 poems offered for the childrens consideration: 16 specifically identify God, Lord, Jesus, and/or prayer; 3 are based on biblical parables; 1 is a tribute to Abraham Lincoln; 2 are tributes to George Washington; 1 is about good citizenship for Young Americans; and, 1 is a tribute to the American Flag. The remainder are uplifting and of varying degrees of difficulty. Yes, I read each one. I share this information with all of you because I believe it is very important to acknowledge where education is being holistic, inclusive, and respectful of this countrys heritage. I am honored our little schools staff and administration are not in fear of Christian teachings. Yes, in my opinion, this is a moment of celebration. Kudos & Thank You!!! Blessings and praise, \tle.
