Good Morning. A bright sunny morning but very cold, at least cold for our climate, but I have my thermal underwear which I got for Christmas so I am armed for bear. I went into town yesterday to track down a drive belt for our tumble drier, I found one which looked to be a good match and thought it would solve the problem, but on fitting it and running the drier I found the belt was slipping as it was a fraction too big, luckily one of the pulleys for the drive belt was adjustable and I took up the slack in the belt, then it worked fine so I put everything back together and gave myself a pat on the back. While I was in town I checked out a large hardware store for mouse traps, they had dozens of different sizes of the traditional mouse trap, right up to giant rat traps, they had poisons and powders,everything designed to kill the mouse, but nothing humane that it could walk away from. So it continues to run the cat gauntlet in the kitchen. Right, its time I took Margaret her coffee, all quiet in the kitchen, cats snoozing around me, the sheep look good in the garden.
