Good Morning, Family. Its Stay On The Wall! Wednesday Pt. 4 Nehemiah 4:6 So we built the wall, and all [of it] was joined together to half its height, for the people had a heart and mind to work. (AMP) ...for the people had worked with enthusiasm. (NLT) ...for the people worked with all their heart. (NIV) ...the people had a heart for the work. (MSG) Unity is imperative, if a project is going to be completed. Theres a commanded blessing that comes, where there is Godly unity (see Psalm 133). When were on the same page and speaking the same language, we can accomplish what was seemingly impossible before we came together as one. It is written, And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them. (Genesis 11:6) In addition to clear communication, there must also be a commitment to the work. I believe that our work shoud be a form of worship. We should put our heart into what were doing, as if it is an offering to The Lord. In Ephesians 6:7, we are instructed to Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. In Colossians 3:23, were commanded, Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, In order to complete an assignment, there should also be conviction along with the commitment. And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength.
