Good Morning Group- We are getting into the prepping stage for our next meeting and agenda: How to get the schools to recognize DCD and Dyspraxia? Within our meeting next Friday I have a great group of board members who will be on the call, Clinicians and Therapist talking about how their therapy is a much needed necessity for the child with DCD and Dyspraxia and how that needs to flow when a child is diagnosed with the condition in the school systems. We also have reps from countries around the world who have changed within their DOE how the Schools and Society look at DCD and Dyspraxia as a life long disorder. When we went to DC a few weeks ago it was to prove its real we advocated and we won. Now we will show what is needed and have countries represent how they changed the need in their countries and then I am going to connect the DOEs in other countries with the DOE in the United States. I have also had chats with the Washington Post and we have much more accessibility now to those in the press as the condition becomes slowly but surely a house hold name..... Back in a bit now its time to get Dyspraxia Ireland on the phone, Warren.
