Good Morning! Im a little groggy this morning. For some reason I woke up every hour last night. Coffee. Coffee. Coffee. In the news: No detection of any more pings in the Indian Ocean. But, theyre not giving up. Searchers are focusing on a smaller area in the Indian Ocean: 30,000 square miles (77,580 square kilometers) about 1,400 miles (2,270 kilometers) northwest of Perth. Thats about a third of the size of the previous search zone, but still... In South Africa, Oscar Pistorius is on the stand. Hes talking about the night he killed Reeva Steenkamp. He described her making dinner, doing Yoga and then going to bed with him. They looked at cars on his iPad, then fell asleep. Both woke up at some point...hear more in The Newsroom. Well also focus on Ukraine. Russias President Putin is allegedly trying a new tactic to destabilize the rest of Ukraine. He is supposedly sending fake protesters into different areas to hold signs and make some noise. Those protesters then ask for Russias help to protect them. The NCAA tournament is over and not without controversy. UCONNs star player tried to shush the crowd so he could vent over UCONNs banishment from the tourney last year. UCONN was banned because of poor academic performance. Players also complained they had little money to live on -- and that something had to change.
