Good Morning: There was a dad who was dying so his sons came to visit him for one last time. He prayed with his sons and as they began to leave the room he said See You Later to his first son, then he said See You Later to his second son. However when his third son was leaving the father said Goodbye son. The son stopped and said Dad you told my two brothers See You Later so why did you say Goodbye to me? The father stated, both your brothers and I have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior so I know I will see them again in Heaven. I wish you would accept Christ but you choose to live your life without him so I figured this might be the final time I see you, so that’s why I said Goodbye to you. The son became very upset with his dad and said “GO TO HELL”. The dad said son if I was going to Hell I would have told your brothers Goodbye and would have told you See You Later. Suddenly the son began to cry and apologize to his dad and asked what must I do to be saved? The dad grabbed his Bible which was next to his bed and immediately turned to Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” The son accepted Jesus right there by his dying dad’s bedside. They prayed together and as the son was leaving the room he said Goodbye Dad. The Dad said no son “I’ll See You Later”. He also told him to read: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Thought for today: If you or one of your love ones died today what would you say to one another? Would it be Goodbye or would it be “SEE YOU LATER”
