Good Morning everyone. Start of a new week. Off to work this morning and guess where we are going? Yeap Columbus. And just think 39 hours ago I was heading home from Columbus in the worst weather and road conditions that I ever had the Monte Carlo out in. My usual 3 hour trip took well over 6 hours. But we made it safely home with precious cargo, the 4 girls, aboard. A big special thanks to my granddaughter Brit, who navigated our journey home. I think she was my lifesaver, someone to talk to all the way to help keep my nervous level under control. I know my car is a summer car but unlike at least 50 other cars it traveled true the snow, sleet and ice. I dont think I have ever been so happy to get home. Brit flew out to a weeks vacation down south yesterday morning, that was the reason we did not just spend another night. Today on the other hand things look great, nice dry fast roads.
