Good Night Facebook Family and Friends...And Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined, and he was there in prison. But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. Gen. 39:20-21 ESV Joseph was his father’s favorite son and though he had done nothing wrong, he was sold into slavery by his older brothers. And if being a slave was not bad enough, when he refused to sleep with his master’s wife, she falsely accused him of rape and he was thrown into prison. Joseph stayed positive during this and was put in charge of the rest of the prisoners. In time he was released out of prison and became the second-in-command of Egypt, and whatever he did, God made it succeed. Was Joseph in God’s perfect will while in prison? Strangely enough yes, in the end it could not have worked out any better. No matter where you are today, or how dark it looks, or how you got there, if you submit yourself to God now, it will work out for your best. The wrongs in your life will be made right. And like Joseph, when you have the chance to finally get even, don’t. Forgive them and let them go and enjoy the new wonderful life God has given you instead. God can turn the bad, into the good and it can happen overnight.
