Good Tuesday morning! Last Sunday in worship we studied the first persons called by Jesus to be disciples. They included four fishermen and a tax collector. Although they were unlikely candidates for the tasks of discipleship, Jesus chose them anyway. He saw something in them that they didn’t see in themselves, and ultimately, this enabled them to become powerful witnesses for Him. Their story reminds us that little is much when God is in it , and that Jesus is still in the business of helping us to become a gift of grace to the world around us. As you read chapters 7,8, and 9 of the Gospel of Mark this week, listen for Jesus calling you to follow Him. He probably sees something in you that you don’t yet see in yourself! Receive His gift of grace and follow Him today!
